General
- This site allows you to access the Madera County Superior Court (Court) via a secure web server (which is also referred to as a ‘Portal’).
- The accessed data is refreshed in real time. Users will generally have access to the Portal 7 days a week/24 hour a day except during maintenance windows which are determined by the Court and/or the Court’s contracted vendor. Notice will be posted on the Court’s website during maintenance windows whenever possible. Users are warned that there may be periods of system unavailability during the maintenance windows.
- The Court reserves the right to block or halt any activity on the Portal that impacts system performance. Automated data mining above a Court determined threshold is not an activity that is supported by this system. If such activity is detected, the Court has the right to limit usage so that overall system performance is maintained.
- If any problems occur when creating the account, please use the ‘Contact Us’ link on the Home page. When possible include the following detailed information: error message, screen shot, etc. when sending feedback.
- Users acknowledge and consent that the Court will monitor and audit of any access to the Portal using login ID and password.
- Access to the Portal is granted solely at the discretion of the Court. The Court will control access by enabling and/or disabling User IDs on an as-needed basis.

Restrictions on Access and Use
- Portal access is limited to the specific electronic records identified under California Rules of Court 2.500 et seq. More information on electronic case access can be found at https://www.courts.ca.gov/42512.htm.
- By accessing or using this Website and the content, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use, as well as applicable laws, rules (including but not limited to the California Rules of Court), regulations, and court orders.
- This Website and the content are protected by applicable copyrights, and other proprietary and intellectual property rights.
- To perform a search, you must have an online account. Your email address is your account login ID. Information on how to create an account can be located on the Home page.
- If you forget your password, please click on 'Request new password' link to reset your password.
About Portal Searches
- A Case Search in the Portal returns a list of case numbers and case data matching the information entered if available for public viewing. The register of actions will be displayed when a case number is selected.
- Case Access will allow you to access certain electronic case records and add it to the My Cases list if you meet the requirements outlined in California Rules of Court 2.515 et seq. For information on how to gain Case Access, contact the Court during normal business hours in person or via telephone at 559.416.5599. Once your identity is verified, you will receive an email with a link to the case and a Security Token that can be entered on this page. Once you have been granted access to a case through the link or Security Token, it will appear on your My Cases page for future reference.
Special Terms of Use
- Court data is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Judicial Branch Entities do not make any representations or warranties regarding, and shall not have any liability regarding, the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or availability of court data, and are not responsible for any discrepancies between court data and data from other sources, including any official record. In no event shall Judicial Branch Entities be liable for consequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. "Judicial Branch Entities" shall mean the Court and any California superior or appellate court, the Judicial Council of California, and the Habeas Corpus Resource Center. Under California Rule of Court 2.504(b), unless electronically certified by the court, a trial court record available by electronic access is not the official record of the court.
- Indemnification: Portal users shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Judicial Branch Entities (and their officers, employees, agents, and contractors) from and against all liabilities, damages, claims, losses, and expenses arising out of, or is in any way related to the Portal user’s acts, omissions, or breach of these terms of use or any access, use, storage, or disclosure of Court Data, as well as noncompliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
- The provisions of this section shall survive the expiration or termination of Portal user accounts.
